Facilitated by the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce, the Bowie Business Journal acts as a platform for Chamber members who would like to showcase their businesses on television to the Bowie community.
Each show may differ slightly as it allows our members to tell their own story in the way they see fit, which gives them creative and entrepreneurial freedom during recording time. Through this, the Bowie Business Journal strives to provide a space for Chamber members and businesses in the Bowie community to reach greater audiences thus reaching greater levels of success.

Unique in scope and coverage, Homes of Color television will support the relaunch of the magazine in a digital format.

An anthology show covering a variety of topics from the mundane to the bizarre. It spotlights different areas of interest and opens doors of wonder and excitement. Award Winning Executive Producer and Host George Wood looks at the arts, business, popular trends, history and emerging trends in critical, funny, and insightful ways. For example, the show explored a new digitally animated modern retelling of the classic horror story – The Portrait of Dorian Gray. Teens Talk Television (TTTV)
Teens Talk Television (TTTV) features teens, young adults, and subject matter experts responding to thoughtful questions on current day issues. Enjoying its pilot season, the show format includes one-on-one interviews and roundtable discussions with a range of remarkable individuals and is co-hosted by a student attending a Prince George’s County high school and a local college/university. Broadcast on the City of Bowie’s public access channels and streamed on YouTube, each TTTV episode is accompanied by a list of resources to further inform and educate viewers. The host declares God as Creator of all things and declares that Jesus
Christ lived, died and rose again. She declares her belief that Jesus is
the only begotten Son of God and that those who believe shall not perish
but shall have everlasting life (based on John 3:16). The show is based
on pure Bible principles. This show reflects a wide array of experience
in teaching the Word of God through revelation from God in His Word. The
host’s experience includes “Private Industry, the United States Government
and the Church environment”. The show entails using experience as a
credentialed Educational Psychologist, a Christian Counseling Teacher, a
former seminarian and former Crisis Care Chaplain and Christian School
“Bible School Teacher” for 7th to 12 graders… teaching the full bible
from Genesis to Revelation. .. .. to talk to the television audience on
common sense practices. Therefore this show is based on Bible based
teachings. The techniques focus on common sense practices. Self help
theories are based on classroom teachings to a wide audience that
primarily covers the Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware, Virginia
areas. The show includes periodic guests with 40 plus episodes that began
airing in early 2018.

Featuring guests from the worlds of sports, business, politics, arts, and education. It’s founder Ed Brown was a P.G. County fixture for over 50 years. He believed in the power of young people making a difference in society, education, communication, economic empowerment, and development. A champion of civil rights and political truth. A local force of nature to be reckoned with. After he passed away in 2018 Award winning producer and close friend of Mr. Brown, George Wood, was asked by Mr. Brown’s family and host Ms. Kamaria Richmond to keep Ed’s legacy going on.

She’ll also give tips on healthy living through diet and exercise. Stephanie began practicing and teaching yoga after years of suffering from lower back pain. Yoga had such a profound effect on her mental and physical life that she felt compelled to pass on this gift to others. Stephanie is the owner and operator of Radio Yogi Health & Fitness in Bowie. She has also been a radio news anchor in the Washington, D.C. area for over 20 years, and is currently employed at WTOP Radio. Stephanie has been married for 24 years to Richard R. Bryant and is the mother of four children, Richard Jr., Christian, Kendall, and Gabriel.

The Green Light isn’t so much. Each episode is just an unscripted conversation with interesting people who have crossed paths with the host in some way or another. Over the past 25 years, guests have included former dorm buddies, teammates, ex-girlfriends, mail carriers, laundry store owners, total strangers … whoever. Sometimes really good music bands will play. Other times they won’t. Just depends. All I’ll tell you is this: If you don’t watch it, you won’t see it.
