Minority Women in Sports, Inc. teamed up with the Washington Wizards Girls Who Lead program—part of Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s District of Play initiative—for a powerful leadership session with the program’s first cohort of high school female student‑athletes. The focus: owning their story. During the workshop, the girls stepped into the role of storyteller, designing their own Empower Her Magazine cover and envisioning the leader they’re becoming.
